Place Magu on watch-list so he doesn’t run away- Fayose
Ayodele Fayose, a former governor of Ekiti state, has asked that Ibrahim Magu be placed watch-list.
Reacting to corruption allegations leveled against Magu, Fayose said Magu placed him on watch-list despite his immunity as a sitting Governor, and same must apply to him, so he does not run away from the country because what goes around comes around.
Fayose made his position known via his Tweeter handle on Tuesday. The statement reads:
“Just as Magu directed that I be placed on “Watch-list” even when I had immunity as a sitting gov, Magu too must be placed on watch-list so that he won’t run away.
EFCC, DSS, Customs, Police, Immigration, Army, Navy, Air Force, others, over to you.
What goes around comes around”.
Recall that Magu is being investigated over corruption allegations and abuse of office which has led to his suspension as the Acting Chairman of the EFCC.
