Nigerian leaders, including me have failed – Dino Melaye
A former Senator representing Kogi-West senatorial zone, Senator Dino Melaye, has blamed himself and all Nigerian leaders, both past and present, especially for their inability to provide palliatives for the people during this Corona virus pandemic.
The Senator also said that Nigeria sold crude oil for 64 years, but its leaders could not feed Nigerians for just two weeks of the COVID-19 lockdown.
The 46 years old politician made this known today Tuesday the 5th of May, 2020 on his official Twitter handle. He wrote: EVERYONE WHO HELD AND IS HOLDING ANY POLITICAL OFFICE IN NIGERIA WHETHER ELECTIVE OR APPOINTED INCLUDING ME HAVE FAIL.WE SOLD CRUDE OIL FOR 64 YEARS BUT WE COULDN’T FEED OUR CITIZENS FOR JUST 2 WEEKS OF LOCKDOWN!! WELL, THE GOD OF THE POOR WILL JUDGE US ALL. IT’S TIME TO REBOOT…
Should the God of the poor really judge them all? Let us hear your views
Though I’m a fan of this man for some of his attitude, but the truth is all this thing he’s saying is a political strategy to gain attention like he always do,if he feels so guilty he should return all the money he took unlawfully too and stop all this acting…….
Mr Dino should please take a seat. What was his contribution to the people while he was in the senate. We know their strategy. People like himself, Shehu Sani and Ben Bruce can only talk the talk but can never do the do. It’s all politricks
