Hope Uzodimma induction into Buhari Integrity Hall of Fame sparks reactions from Nigerians
The Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma yesterday the 14th of June, 2020, took to his official Twitter handle to share his induction into Buhari Integrity Hall of Fame. The Governor expressed his happiness to be seen as worthy of the honour. The induction was done by the Research and Documentation Centre (Arewa House) of Ahmadu Bello University(ABU), Zaria.
The Governor said the honour means more commitment to the service of Imo people with integrity and dedication. The official statement reads:
“I’m honoured and glad to be inducted into the prestigious President @MBuhari integrity hall of fame for displaying integrity in good / by the Research and documentation centre ( Arewa House) of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria.
“It was one of the events which marked our Democracy Day celebrations in Imo.
“The event took place at thre Sam Mbakwe Exco Chambers, Imo State Government House, Owerri.
“This honour is to more commitment to the service of Ndị Imo with integrity and dedication.
“I thank them for this honour done to me and Imolites in general.
“Imo of shared prosperity.
Meanwhile, mixed reactions have followed the announcement of the honour by the governor as some felt he shouldn’t have been given such honour owing to the circumstances that led to his election Victory.
