Explosion: Tanker Catches Fire On Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

A tanker laden with 50,000 AGO gutted with heavy fire and led to serious disruption of traffic on Lagos Ibadan Expressway.

Motorists along the Expressway have been urged to exercise utmost restraints and patience due to heavy traffic that will results from the obstruction of traffic flow around Sagamu Interchange.

According to reports, NEMA has contacted Ogun State and Federal Fire Services to file out to the scene.

NEMA urges motorists not to resort in taking unsecured route while trying to seek alternative access at this time.

However, as at the time of filling this report there were no death recorded but about three persons were said to be injured.
