COVID-19: NCDC officials flee Kogi following Gov. Bello’s isolation directive

The National Center for Disease Control, NCDC, has sent a delegation of rapid response team to determine Kogi’s true status as a covid-19 free status.
The team led by Dr. Noah Andrew, who had arrived at the..Lugard headquarters of the state government to present a letter titled “Deploying the Rapid Response Squadron to Assist in the Fight Against Covid-19,” said the mission The center was to provide logistics for all the states of the Federation from which Kogi cannot be left out.
Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello ordered the leader of officials for the National Center for Disease Control, NCDC, Dr. Andrew Noah, to isolate himself in the state quarantine center for 14days. 
The governor issued the order Thursday night when the visiting NCDC official shook hands with the state’s Director of Protocol while exchanging a microphone after speaking to introduce his team to the audience.
The governor said the step was to ensure that the established procedure to control the scourge by the NCDC was strictly followed.
However there are reports that the Officials of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, have reportedly fled Kogi State shortly after Governor Yahaya Bello’s directive.
