Blasphemy: Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau condemns Kano State death sentence.
Abubakar Shekau, in a new audio released to the media has condemned the Kano State death sentence of popular Kano musician.
According to the embattled Boko Haram leader, there is no difference between the ‘blasphemer’ and those who sentenced him to death.
Abubakar Shekau said that Kano is a land of infidel and there is no justification for the state to ‘murder’ the Kano musician.
Shekau tagged it a high level of hypocrisy.
There has been a lot of mixed reactions to the comment credited to Abubakar Shekau.
While some see it as a welcome development, some have called it a situation of pot calling kettle black.
