APC Leadership Crisis: IGP Seals off Party National Secretariat

The Inspector General of Police Mohammed Adamu has ordered the seal-off of the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

solomonagbator.com has learnt that the order was issued as a result of conflicting rulings by two courts over the status of Adams Oshiomhole as the chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the subsequent leadership crisis.

The IGP gave the order through the FCT Commissioner of Police to the APC chief security officer.

This is coming less than 12 hours that after some APC governors had a meeting with President asking him to intervene in the party’s leadership crisis.

In the past week, three factional Acting National Chairman of APC have emerged. The National Working Committee announced sick, ex-Oyo Gov. Abiola Ajimobi in acting capacity to replace Mr Adams Oshiomhole, who was removed by the court while Chief Victor Giadom as National Deputy Secretary, claiming to have court ruling to take over as the Acting National Chairman.

However, the National Vice Chairman South South, Hilliard Eta, is holding brief for the Acting National Chairman, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
