An eye witness told our reporters that some people are still trapped under the collapsed building.
This is not the first time houses will collapsed in this part of Lagos. Lagos Island has been declared as the haven of distressed buildings in Nigeria. Majority of the buildings have faulty foundations and were built with substandard materials while others are old dilapidated buildings.
