All that glitters are not GOLD: AMCON allegedly seize Toke Makinwa’s Mansion: Am still the owner- Makinwa replies

Social media personality, Toke Makinwa has been alleged to lost her mansion to Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCOM).

Although the Social media personality has come out to deny that her mansion located at bank road, Ikoyi has been over taken by AMCON. Recall that Toke had earlier claimed to that she bought the mansion at the age of 35 and has set a lot of standard being a role model for feminist.

There are also speculations that Toke makinwa did not own the house and that the property belonged to Lagos based oil and gas mogul, Festus Fadeyi who is heavily indebted and has resolved to convert the house to AMCON as part of properties to cover for his N240 billion debt.

AMCON has also taken possession of Fadeyi’s Pan Ocean Oil Corporation Nigeria limited and it’s affiliates companies to cover for the N240 billion debt owed Skye bank.

However in a statement released by the On-Air personality’s publicist, Andrea Manuela Giaccaglia , Makinwa denied the rumours insisting that she is the sole owner of the said property.

“On behalf of Ms. Toke Makinwa, we would like to address the rumour circulating the internet that Ms. Toke Makinwa’s alleged house in Banana Island was taken over by the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON),” part of the statement read.

“Ms. Toke’s is the sole owner of her residence in Ikoyi. Our lawyers have been contacted and legal action will be taken against the originators of this story. Kind Regards, Toke Makinwa’s Management.”
