BREAKING: Nigeria Records The Highest Ever Daily Cases Of COVID-19
Nigeria has recorded 745 new cases of the novel COVID-19 the highest ever daily figure which took the total infection case to 18,480, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said on Thursday.
Nigeria recorded 587 cases Wednesday, but it jumped to 745 Thursday (in a day). The discharge rate also rises to 6,307 from 5,967.
According to the health agency, Lagos state recorded the highest number with 280 followed by Oyo with 103 as Ebonyi also recorded 72 cases.
Other states with new cases of COVID-19 yesterday includes; FCT, Imo, Edo, Delta, Rivers, Kaduna, Ondo, Katsina, Kano, Bauchi, Borno, Kwara, Gombe, Sokoto, Enugu, Yobe, Osun, Nasarawa.
